Litigation Attorney
Ms. McCloy works exclusively in the Immigration Division of CLG but she has considerable legal experience handling a wide variety of legal matters including criminal defense, bankruptcy, domestic relations and real estate. In addition, for seven years, Ms. McCloy worked as an adjunct professor teaching legal courses at Trident Technical Community College in Charleston, SC.

Ms. McCloy is a staff attorney at Community Law Group in the Immigration Division. Prior to joining CLG Ms. McCloy volunteered with the Dilley Pro Bono Project (DPBP), a collaboration of the American Immigration Council, Immigration Justice Campaign and others. DPBP provides legal services to mothers and children who are detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the South Texas Family Residential Center, fleeing extreme violence in Central America and elsewhere and are seeking asylum in the United States.
Ms. McCloy also volunteered with Aldea working on behalf of mothers, fathers and children detained in Berks County Residential Center, an immigrant detention center in Leesport, Pennsylvania. Ms. McCloy endeavors to provide clients with information about their immigration case while working with each client to develop a strategy for their individual case. Ms. McCloy believes that each client deserves an advocate who will fight for them
