Professional Experience

Ms. McCloy is a staff attorney at Community Law Group in the Immigration Division. Prior to joining CLG, Ms. McCloy volunteered with the Dilley Pro Bono Project (DPBP), a collaboration between the American Immigration Council, the Immigration Justice Campaign, and other organizations. DPBP provides legal services to mothers and children detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the South Texas Family Residential Center, who are fleeing extreme violence in Central America and elsewhere, and seeking asylum in the United States.

Community

Ms. McCloy also volunteered at Aldea, working on behalf of mothers, fathers and children detained at Berks Residential Center, an immigration detention center in Leesport, Pennsylvania. Ms. McCloy strives to provide clients with information about their immigration case while working with each client to develop a strategy for their individual case. Ms. McCloy believes that every client deserves an advocate who will fight for them.
