Associate Attorney, Civil & Criminal Department
About Attorney Zachary Carden

Zachary Ty Carden is an Associate Attorney in the Civil & Criminal Department at Community Law Group. Licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2018, he has nearly seven years of experience representing clients in complex and sensitive domestic matters. His practice focuses on family and domestic law, including divorce, custody and child support, dependency and neglect, child abuse, orders of protection, adoptions, and related appeals.
From a young age, Zachary was drawn to law through his interest in current events and political affairs. He realized that while public figures often discuss solutions, the real work of solving problems for everyday people happens in court. That belief has driven his dedication to serving individuals and families throughout his career.
Education- University of Tennessee, Knoxville — Juris Doctor, 2018
Zachary has dedicated his career to representing domestic litigants, with much of his work serving Tennessee’s immigrant communities. He is known for his resilience, client-focused approach, and commitment to ensuring that every case receives the attention it deserves.
One of his most meaningful cases involved defending a single mother in a grandparent visitation dispute. After extensive preparation and courtroom advocacy, the opposing party voluntarily dismissed the case before trial — a resolution that underscored Zachary’s philosophy that no case is ever “small” when it comes to protecting families.
Philosophy for ClientsZachary approaches every case with the mindset: “How is this going to benefit my client, and what will this cost my client?” He believes clients don’t pay for guaranteed results, but for effort, resilience, and determination. Communication is central to his practice, and he ensures that clients fully understand their legal situations before moving forward.
“No case is too small. Every result matters. Keep going.”
